Side Parts and Skinny Jeans

I know many of you have heard about the feud between the two generations, millennials and Gen Z. Gen Z is saying that Millennials should stop wearing side parts and skinny jeans.... oh and apparently using the cry emoji is not cool anymore either. I am going to start with the fact that I look horrible with a middle part. I try to rock it and I always end up reverting back to my side part. Also, I don't think I own anything other than skinny jeans, other than my leggings. On any giving day you can usually find me in leggings and a tee or sweatshirt with a messy bun or nappy hair because brushing my hair right now is not a top priority considering I have a 2 month old, but when it comes to my jean collection, you will not see any flare jeans in my closet.

I do remember back between 2000-2003 I had flare jeans, I am short so I always felt like they made me look even shorter and stockier than I really was. Once skinny jeans came back I felt like a super model because my legs looked longer. Anyway, Gen Z has some of their own issues, example: eating tide pods! I think I will stick to my skinny jeans and side part :)

COCO and I wanted to start sharing more than just our passion for home and health, we want to bring you into our closet to show you the outfits we love and put together, we are going to start with the board below that has some nice spring outfits, a lot of the pieces are from Abercrombie and Fitch. Yes, I am 35 and still shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch, to be honest they have VERY cute clothes that are so comfy and don't cost an arm and a leg.

Side note: you don't need to " dress your age", you should dress yourself in what makes you happy. Just because you are in your 30's, 40's or 50's doesn't mean you have to wear flowered sweaters and pearls!!!

Below you will see our first fashion board, you can shop the board on --> liketoknowit.com or our --> instagram , let us know what you think and if you want more of this, we love sharing our passions with you and appreciate you all!
